Weleda has announced its sponsorship of the British Fashion Council’s project The Model Zone for this September’s London Fashion Week. This is the official London Fashion Week sanctuary where models can recharge their batteries, and look after their health and wellbeing during the schedule of events. The exact location of The Model Zone remains a secret to protect the privacy of professional models. Weleda will be offering a range of treatments with experienced massage consultants Shona McStravick and Amanda Bucher, including massages with a range of fragrant body oils, and holistic skincare advice. This season London facialist Dija Ayodele joins the team to introduce revitalising mini facials to revive lacklustre complexions. Back by popular demand will be Weleda’s superintendent pharmacist Evelyn Liddell, who will be on hand for natural health consultations and problem-solving skincare advice. This season, models will leave The Model Zone with a LFW survival collection containing a goody bag that includes Weleda Skin Food, Aknedoron Purifying Lotion, Almond Soothing Cleansing Lotion and Facial Cream, Citrus Creamy Body Wash and Wild Rose Body Lotion, Blackthorn Elixir. The wash rooms and changing areas at The Model Zone will also be stocked with Weleda foot balm to soothe tired aching feet, natural toothpastes to freshen breath, organic soaps and body washes for a quick shower between fittings, and fragrant natural deodorants.
