Condé Nast launches Condé Nast Portrait
Condé Nast Publications announces the launch of Condé Nast Portrait, a bespoke multi-media publishing service. Offering hand-finished books, glossy magazines and digital projects created privately for the international client by the publishers of Vogue, Vanity Fair and Condé Nast Traveller, this global custom service for discerning individuals will access and commission the finest photographers, stylists, editors, film-makers and archive, creating a very personal story in the unparalleled Condé Nast style. Options will include oversize coffee table books to commemorate a special landmark, anniversary or achievement, combining existing imagery with shoots by leading photographers; a fashion or party shoot, utilising the Condé Nast stable of stylists, presented in a magazine; a researched and narrated family genealogical tree; a bespoke magazine, for example gifted to guests at a wedding, featuring stories of the happy couple, combining archive images with written tributes from friends, and featuring a cover shoot specially commissioned for the occasion; a filmed interview with a businessman reflecting on his or her successes to date; photographic books documenting the creation of a house, yacht or jet in the style of Architectural Digest; or a catalogue raisonné of a private art collection. Condé Nast Portrait taps into global network of photographers, writers and film-makers, to curate, project manage and deliver limited run publications and productions. The service will launch in August 2014.
