    woman&home unveils Best in Beauty Awards winners
     
    woman&home magazine announces the winners of its Best in Beauty Awards 2013. The Best in Beauty awards honour true excellence with categories including Hair, Eyes, Lips, Nails, Skincare, Anti-age, Base, Body, and Perfume. Readers and the judging panel were able to choose their favourite new products from a list of contenders which had been trialled and loved by woman&home and featured in the magazine within the last year. Products awarded with the accolade of featuring in the Best in Beauty 2013 list as voted for by woman&home readers are: Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm, Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil, Clarins Ombre Minérale Eye Shadow, Clinique Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector, Estée Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R] Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum, No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream, L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil, and Liz Earle Botanical Essence No. 15, Aussie Miracle Shine Shampoo & Conditioner. The Best in Beauty awards also recognise those elite products readers vote as their best loved. Toasted as this year’s Best in Beauty Icons, are the following: Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, No7 Protect & Perfect, Chanel No5 Eau De Parfum, YSL Touche Eclat, L’Oréal Elnett Diamond Hold, Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant, Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex, Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette, Lâncome Juicy Tubes, and OPI Nail Lacquer. This year’s judging panel comprised woman&home’s beauty director, Jo Glanville-Blackburn; business woman, Karren Brady; John Lewis’s head beauty buyer, Amanda Scott; skin doctor, Dr Rita Rakus MBBS; celebrity skin expert, Wendy Lewis; independent hairdresser, Kathleen Bray; international make-up artist, Lee Pycroft and actress, Samantha Bond.
