June saw the launch of Crocs’ SS20 Pride Collection with a range of rainbow print styles. A symbol of unity, respect, equality and love, the rainbow print is applied to four shoe silhouettes, as well as to a mix of exclusive Pride-Jibbitz charms.  The collection features a Classic Rainbow Stripe Clog, Crocband Rainbow Block Clog, Classic II Rainbow Stripe Flip and a Classic Crocband III Rainbow Block Slide. Embodying the Crocs ‘Come As You Are’ brand mantra, each style makes a proud statement in its own unique way.  As part of the launch, Crocs has teamed up with British artist Josh McKenna who brings the collection to life with a series of playful illustration animations. Josh McKenna is renowned for the original ‘sashaying’ sticker, London’s Pride Wall and his involvement with Pride and LGBTQ+ movements.  Josh spoke about the work he did for Crocs: “When I was approached to illustrate this visual for the Crocs Pride activation, I was more than excited to collaborate. I work with many brands on PRIDE activations every year and as a rule, I only like to work with those who are proactively helping the LGBTQ+ community. Josh continued: “Crocs’ mantra of encouraging everyone to be comfortable in their own skin/shoes and its messaging, “Come As You Are”, is all about freedom of expression and individuality, just like PRIDE.
