H&M collaborates with Desmond & Dempsey
H&M has announced its collaboration with British brand Desmond & Dempsey to create a capsule collection for summer. The collaboration sees the production of a women’s daywear collection – the first ever luxury pyjama brand. Already well-known around the world for their hand-painted prints, Desmond & Dempsey is the brainchild of Molly Goddard and Joel Jeffery. The H&M womenswear collaboration features prints in easy silhouettes and lightweight natural fabrics. The Desmond & Dempsey x H&M collection will be available online from 23rd April. With a wide range of laidback dresses, kaftans and a casual matching shirt and shorts two piece, the Desmond & Dempsey x H&M collaboration is a womenswear collection that eases into any daywear setting or summer wardrobe. The silhouettes are predominately long and floaty, with natural fabrics such as fluid linen, cotton voile and viscose. The unique prints were created by hand and inspired by Molly Goddard and Joel Jeffery’s birthplace of Australia. Palms and botanical elements flourish in repeat patterns or Toile de Jouy-like prints in a colour palette of saffron yellow, dusty pink, azure blue, forest green and soft beige.
