Marie Claire UK’s Editor-In-Chief and Managing Director to step down
TI Media has announced that Marie Claire UK Editor-In-Chief, Trish Halpin and Managing Director, Justine Southall are to both step down as the brand pursues its digital-first future. Trish Halpin was appointed editor of Marie Claire in 2009 and Justine Southall joined the brand in 2011. Standout campaigns, franchises and extensions during their tenure include Not My Job, challenging gender inequality in the workplace; Take a Good Look, calling for better regulation in cosmetic interventions; The Future Shapers Awards and conferences, which shine a spotlight on women who are redefining what it means to be successful; glossy bi-annual Marie Claire Runway; and Start Somewhere, encouraging conscious consumerism and everyday sustainability goals. Justine and Trish also saw the launch of beauty retail business Fabled by Marie Claire in partnership with Next and fashion aggregate shopping platform Marie Claire Edit.
