Clean to Planet Clean Screen SPF 30 is the latest example of REN Clean Skincare pushing packaging boundaries to work towards Zero Waste by 2021. It has indeed been designed with circularity in mind : the tube is made from 50% recycled plastic (to date, the level recommended to ensure tube´s functionality is not impacted) and the cap is made from 100% recycled plastic. To ensure it could be recycled where facilities exist, REN Clean Skincare has used one-type of plastic only (polypropylene) for this mono-material packaging. In other words, there are zero layers on the inside or outside of the tube that could pollute the recycling stream and the cap is made of the same material as the tube. Tubes are not easily recycled and therefore not widely collected, designing them for recyclability is a major step towards changing this situation. REN Clean Skincare is proud to be the first brand certified by SUEZ for its Clean Screen Mineral SPF 30.
