Ronald Britton has announced today that they’ve launched the world’s first plastic free glitter. With all the stories in the news about fresh calls for supermarkets and retailers to ban glitter on products in the last few days, I thought it would make a nice piece, a UK firm which has developed a solution. The glitter is the first sparkle product that contains no plastic and is verified microplastic free by the EU and certified biodegradable. Attached and below are more details along with some images. The product has been developed for the cosmetic market but is incredibly versatile and can be used in fabric printing and in fashion.
