German Paris based jewellery label, Uncommon Matters, has announced the appointment of VALD Agency to handle all PR. The wearable architectures of Amélie Riech are engineered embracing artisanal methods. Trained as an architect, holding a diploma in fashion design, and growing up between Paris and Berlin, Riech is adept at spanning worlds. In Paris, Riech established herself as an editor, stylist and consultant for international publications and fashion brands. She founded Uncommon Matters, originally as a platform for her personal artistic endeavors. The first works were limited editions and unique pieces for exhibition. Due to their simple intricacy and fluid usage of both fine and novel materials including porcelain and glass and high tech ceramics, Riech’s precise couture pieces quickly found a following, both in galleries and high-end boutiques.
