Barbour launches sub-brand Barbour Beacon
Fashion brand Barbour has announced the launch of their sub-brand Barbour Beacon. The name of the brand (Barbour Beacon) comes from the Beacon lighthouse which stands at the mouth of the River Tyne in the North East of England. Back in 1908 when the first Barbour catalogue was produced by 2nd generation family member, Malcolm Barbour, he named his protective outerwear after the Beacon to represent the best in quality outdoor clothing, guaranteed to be weather resistant and fit for purpose. Barbour Beacon is a contemporary brand that fuses the company’s heritage with a youthful look. The AW18 collection is inspired by the current outdoor trend and focuses on two key colours, navy and olive, with bold highlight colours of royal blue and orange. The collection includes hiking fleeces, long sleeved polos, track pants and logoed tees. Available to purchase from the Barbour Carnaby Street store from and online from www.barbourbeacon.com. Also available in selected Topman, Selfridges and END. stores.
