Beauty app NailBuff has appointed Fluorescent PR to handle all press and publicity. The app allows nail polish devotees to find the perfect shade using their exclusive touchscreen technology. Users can also search through a large database of polishes by colour or brand, or take a photo or screenshot of the exact colour they’re looking for – the app will match it with the closest find. Users can add to a ‘wish list’ and ‘collection’, which can be shared via social media. The collection allows users to record which shades they already own, to curate the ultimate nail wardrobe. Brands already searchable on the app include OPI, essie, Barry M, butter LONDON, Ciaté and Jessica. Capability to purchase directly through the app will be implemented in the next few months, to allow users to search and shop their favourite shades. In addition, nail bars will be able to list their salon on the app, as well as their nail polish collections, so users can find a nail bar and pick a colour in advance of their appointment.
