The Eve Appeal and CEW launch GET LIPPY with retailers and beauty brands
Women’s cancer charity The Eve Appeal and beauty industry organisation Cosmetic Executive Women UK (CEW), have joined forces, along with some of the UK’s leading retail and beauty brands to launch GET LIPPY month this May.
The aim of the GET LIPPY campaign is to encourage everyone to GET LIPPY – to speak up and out – about women’s health and the early signs and symptoms of gynaecological cancers without embarrassment. That is why The Eve Appeal and CEW have developed a national consumer-facing campaign which will encourage a range of beauty brands to donate £1 or 10% from every lip product sold in May to support the GET LIPPY initiative. The donations will help to fund research into early detection, risk-prediction and prevention of women’s cancers, as well as spreading much-needed awareness. The campaign will encourage the UK to #GetLippy and participate by buying a lipstick, lip gloss or lip balm from a Get Lippy partner.
