Design Museum partners with Vitra to create pop-up garden
Design Museum, London has partnered with design company Vitra to create a pop-up garden on the River Thames to celebrate the arrival of summer. Housed in the museum’s display area on the riverfront (The Tank) the garden brings together some of the biggest names in design such as
Charles and Ray Eames, Jasper Morrison, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby and Verner Panton, through a series of classic furniture designs as well as new works. Surrounding the garden are seating areas for visitors. The Design Museum Pop-Up Garden is on display in the Design Museum Tank, located on the River Thames outside the museum from May 10.
