Luxury lip balm brand Bali Balm announces UK launch
Luxury lip balm brand, Bali Balm, has announced its UK launch this month. The first collection for the brand is derived from three essential oils, coconut, castor and kukui nut, which founder Dan Hadley, discovered when travelling to Bali. It is from Hadley’s love of natural ingredients, combined with his passion to develop a lip care product to satisfy the unisex market, Bali Balm was born. The global lip care market is forecasted to reach $2 billion by 2020 (Technavio Report, 2016) driven by the growth of natural lip care products and rising interest in lip care by men. Priced at £18, each balm has been derived using 100% natural ingredients and is produced in Bali. The collection includes four mouth-watering lip balm flavours Bergamot & Grapefruit, Lemon & Black Pepper, Cinnamon & Burnt Orange and Sandalwood & Ginger. Each long-lasting balm contains an ethical and bee-friendly formula of coconut, castor and kukui nut oil, combined with candelilla leaf wax and sugar cane extract. The blend of vitamin-rich essential oils ensure lips are left moisturised, healed and revitalised, without leaving a waxy film on the surface. Bali Balm partnered with award-winning chef, Russell Bateman, now at the helm of his own kitchen at The Grove Hotel, to curate the lip balm flavours. Bateman has worked with an array of the world’s greatest chefs including Eric Chavot, Alyn Williams, Marcus Wareing, Marc Veyrat and Daniel Clifford. Supporting local communities is at the forefront of Bali Balm’s ethos with its Kiss the Planet pledge. A contribution from each sale of Bali Balm supports the Mount Agung Emergency Response to help families affected by the volcano’s activity in Bali. Bali Balm packaging is also 100% recyclable and the brand issues clients with a pre-paid envelope to return used tubes to the head office once finished. Bali Balm is available to purchase at balibalm.com.
