This month sees the launch of Arabel Manners, a luxury footwear brand for women who have size 41-46 (UK size 7-12) feet. The wide-fit footwear range comprises seven styles in three variations which are handcrafted using an Italian technique for hand dying the leather, the finest Italian leather upper, leather lining and luxurious suede. The inspiration for the collection came from the owner’s mother, a large shoe consumer, who was always made to feel second best when walking into a luxury footwear store as her size was never catered for. Launching via a Kickstarter campaign, which runs from 13 March – 13 April, Arabel Manners will be available to backers with pledges starting from as little as £10 – £299. Backers will receive their footwear in October 2018 and, shortly after, the project will go on sale to the mass market. The brand would like to raise £10,000 via their Kickstarter campaign and are also looking for investors.
