Rainbowwave PR announces new jewellery clients

 

Rainbowwave PR has been appointed to handle the UK press and publicity for jewellery designers Eddie Borgo and Ileana Makri, effective immediately. The New York-based winner of the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund in 2011, Eddie began his career making one-of-a-kind pieces for stylists such as Camilla Nickerson, Patti Wilson and Tabitha Simmons. His collections are a study in tradition, American costume jewellery, the history of rock and roll and the heritage of New York. The collection is sold at over 100 retailers around the world including NET-A-PORTER, Liberty, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Matches & Selfridges. Greek designer Ileana Makri is renowned for her exquisite line of fine jewellery and collaborations with the likes of Marios Schwab and The Row, but is also making her mark with the launch of her contemporary line ‘IAM’. Ileana draws inspiration from a diverse spectrum of cultures, with a particular emphasis on mythological iconography, presenting “fine jewellery for no special occasion”.  Her collection can be found at luxury retailers worldwide including Dover Street Market, Net-A-Porter, Matches, Browns, Colette and Barneys.
