March 27 sees the launch of new luxury accessories brand Max V.Koenig. Created by Maximilian Koenig, the eight-piece SS17 collection focuses on sophisticated, functional shapes with contrasting, natural leather straps and playful fringing. In the softest buttery leather and nubuck, each piece is completely unique; Koenig sculpts his hides by hand, preserving the leather’s natural grain, texture and patina and avoiding – where possible – unnecessary chemical processes. The range features five styles of signature tote bag, alongside a simple fold-over pouch and two sizes of wallet, with prices ranging from £280 to £1,560. Four Rain has been appointed to handle press and publicity.
