Bloom Remedies’ Men’s Daily Moisture Care has taken top honours in the fourth annual FreeFrom Skincare Awards, winning the Overall Award for Best Free From Skincare Product. Other category winners included Saaf’s Foot Softening Balm (Hand, Nail and Foot Care) and Jane Iredale’s Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara (Make Up). Neal’s Yard Remedies won Best Free From Skincare Brand, with All Natural Soap Company winning both the Hard Soaps category, and the inaugural Free From Achievement Award, for their Gentle Goat’s Milk Soap and Castile Olive Oil Soap respectively. The awards were presented at the new Love Natural, Love Organic show at Olympia, by Imperfectly Natural beauty and holistic health guru, Janey Lee Grace. The announcements followed a long judging process which included a rigorous month-long assessment by testers recruited by the Awards’ associates, the Ultimate Natural Beauty Bible, and concluded with several days of expert judging sessions. The Free From Skincare Awards were founded in 2012 to encourage and reward manufacturers of skincare products ‘free from’ many of the allergens, chemicals, additives and fragrances associated with skin sensitivities, allergies, ethical and health concerns.
