La Maison Rémy Martin launches and announces collaboration
Rémy Martin has announced its collaboration with five of London’s most renowned talents to host bespoke workshops during the two weeks at their first private members club: La Maison Rémy Martin. The club will be open from November 25 to December 6, 2014 on Greek Street in Soho. The five craftsmen will include luthier Luke Joseph Sharples of Joseph Lukes Guitars, butcher Allens of Mayfair, milliner Noel Stewart, men’s grooming company Sharps Barber and Shop and fragrance brand Czech & Speake. Each brand partner will offer bespoke and unique experiences for members of La Maison Rémy Martin, showcasing the synergy between the House of Rémy Martin and London’s most talented: their heritage and passion for craftsmanship. The interactive as well as educational workshops will be hosted in L’Atelier, a creative space on the third floor of the club. The club’s members will have the opportunity to meet Justin Preston, Director at Allens of Mayfair and learn about the importance of good quality raw materials and craftsmanship in butchery. During the workshops, milliner Noel Stewart will discuss London’s hat history and the art of blending high-quality materials, as well as helping members explore their own taste for hats. Throughout the two weeks of the club opening, Sharps Barber and Shop will offer traditional barber services for members, whilst hosting bespoke workshops on the history, tradition, techniques and mystery of shaving. Guests will also be treated to master classes by the fragrance brand Czech & Speake, who will take members on a sensory journey on the creation and design of fine fragrances and men’s grooming accessories. Luthier Luke Joseph Sharples of Joseph Lukes Guitars will demonstrate the importance of wood and its ageing process when constructing a guitar.
